Sevil Ozisik received her LL.B degree from Dokuz Eylul University Law Faculty in Izmir, Turkey, and her LL.M degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Sevil Ozisik became a member of Bar Association in Turkey and had worked at Turunc & Savascin law firm in Izmir. She gained significant experience dealing with international commercial transactions, litigation, trade and copy mark and maritime law. Sevil Ozisik has been in the U.S. since 1991. After completing her law degree here, she became a member of New York Bar Association. Attorney Ozisik has worked at New York State law firms including Harris & Harris, Neil A. Weinrib & Associates, and Zurhellen & La Rue for five years before founding her law firm in 1998. She has been a managing partner of Haker & Ozisik LLP,a boutique law firm, with five attorneys in New York. Attorney Ozisik’s specialization includes immigration and related corporate transactions. Sevil Ozisik has been active in the American Immigration Lawyers Association and also a member of the American Bar Association. She has participated in the New York City Bar Associations’ pro bono programs to assist battered women and children. Sevil Ozisik has been serving for Turkish American Chamber of Commerce & Industry (TACCI)’s Board of Directors since 2003. She has been the President of TACCI since April 2008.
Remzi Guvenc Kulen, founder of Kulen Law Firm P.C., obtained his bachelor's degree from Marmara University School of Law and he graduated "with distinction" from Tulane Law School LL.M program. Before starting his solo practice, Mr. Kulen was employed by Acar Law Firm PLLC for over 5 years, where he assisted corporations and individuals in business and family related immigration matters. Mr. Kulen was also employed at Aybay & Aybay Law Firm in Istanbul, Holland & Knight LLP and Zara Law Offices in New York, where he handled corporate law, commercial litigation and maritime law cases. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Turkish American Business Improvement and Development Council (TABID), and Turkish American Chamber of Commerce (TACCI). He is the past President of the Hudson Turkish American Cultural Association (HUTACA), where he still serves in the Board of Directors. His articles on immigration matters have appeared on web-based and print media in the U.S. He has been interviewed for TV programs and invited as a guest speaker in immigration matters. Kulen Law Firm P.C. represents individual and corporate clients in immigration and nationality law.
M. Arda Beşkardeş is an attorney based in New York City. He specializes in a wide variety of immigration matters including physician and higher education immigration, employment based immigration, J waivers, entertainment and arts immigration, and extraordinary ability petitions. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, NAFSA: Association of International Educators, and the American Bar Association’s Sections of International Law and Practice and Business Law. Arda is licensed to practice law in New York and Tennessee and is also of-counsel to the immigration law firm of Jones Stevenson, LLC in Las Vegas, Nevada. Before heading on to a solo-practice, Arda was an associate with Siskind Susser, PC, one of the most prestigious immigration firms in the country. Prior to Siskind Susser, Arda was the in-house immigration specialist of The University of Memphis where he served the immigration needs of the faculty, staff, and students. Arda is a graduate of The University of Memphis's Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law (JD; 1998), and the Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences (BA; 1995) where he studied Political Science with a concentration in Labor Economics and Industrial Relations.
